Anna, “Perhaps belonging isn’t something we find. Perhaps it is something we remember” gives this reflection its deepest turn. A group can recognize us, welcome us, or fail us, yet none of those responses has the authority to create our right to exist, make, seek truth, and love God. The movement from isolation into art shows remembrance becoming practice, as belonging takes form through what you create and the life you permit yourself to inhabit. Thank you for giving readers language for returning to what rejection never had the power to erase.
